Experts have cited various reasons for this. One, the earlier offers have proved successful, and secondly the pace of addition of new subscribers into Jio fold is gradually slowing down. A new promotional offer will not only bring more subscribers, but also put other telecom companies, which are getting aggressive, on the backfoot again.
