The company has always tried experimenting with different products including clip-on lenses for smartphone, action camera, 360 camera, etc. It recently introduced Kodak's professional quality photography-first smartphone, the smartphone is called Kodak Ektra.

The Kodak Ektra features a Helio X-20 Decacore Processor, 3GB Ram, 32GB Rom, 5 inch Full HD Display with Corning Gorilla Glass Screen and Lens Protection, and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and runs on android 6.0 Marshmello. The smartphone looks Premium as it has Textured Leather Back and Steel-Rimmed Lens and Side Panels.The Smartphone is Available for Pre-Order at $399.99.

The Main attraction of the smartphone is the camera, There is a huge camera bump on the back of the smartphone like a digital camera. The smartphone has a 21 megapixel camera with Kodak non reflective lens coating, f/2.0 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, Phase Detection Autofocus, HDR, Dual LED flash. it is capable of recording 4K videos, the other camera features include RAW+JPEG support, Enhanced Low light performance, better noise reduction, improved shutter speed, improved white balance and better colour saturation. As it is a hybrid Camera Smartphone it has some DSLR like functionality, On the side the smartphone has a dedicated camera shutter and a user-interface with Intuitive Touchscreen DSLR Dial (with haptic touch) and Customisable Manual Mode (with Adjustable Shutter Speed and ISO rating). The Smartphone also has a 13 megapixel front camera for selfies.
