Chinese Smartphone brands ruling Indian market

In last couple of years many Chinese smartphone brands namely Oppo , Vivo , Xiaomi , LeEco have stepped into Indian market , which made Indian brands sales affect very badly.
Chinese brands are coming up with interesting new features and attractive design and their primary focus is on the budget friendly segment some brands even advertises so extensively that customers are tempted to buy their branded smartphones. Meanwhile the Indian brands are lacking in good budget friendly phones and are not upgrading their smartphones frequently , taking these points into consideration the market share of chinese compaines has grown 3.4 times over years.

Meanwhile Samsung still tops the chart with 28 percent share, but the share of Indian manufacturers downsized to a mere 14 percent from 40 percent last year. Some trade experts projects that Vivo and Oppo’s smartphone sales to rise by around 40 percent to 50 percent by end of 2018.

Last year a sudden rise in sales of 4G VoLte enabled smartphones was observed this was all beacause of the Reliance Jio 4G offering free unlimited 4G data this made a battle in telecom industry which made all telcos to slash their data prices , so as to experience the 4G speeds public went on to buy the smartphones , this moment was cashed by the Chinese brands by mass producing mid and low range 4G VoLte enabled smartphones.
