Lava A44 entry-level Smartphone Announced with Android Nougat for Rs. 5399
Lava A44 is a new entry level device that has been spotted on the official website of the Noida-based smartphone maker Lava. The device is priced at Rs. 5,399 in India and will be competing against other entry devices from different brands. The Lava A44 supports Dual SIM card and has the features like auto call recording and Flip to mute. The device will be available in Black and Gold color variants and will come with a small battery capacity of 1500mAh.
This new device from Lava will feature a 4.0-inch touchscreen WVGA display and will be supporting 4G LTE connectivity. Under the hood, there is an unknown 1.1GHz Quad-core processor and will be running on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. There is a 5MP rear facing the camera with LED flash which can record HD videos also. There is a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
There is an onboard memory of 8GB on the device that can be further extended up to 32GB via microSD card slot. There is also 1GB of RAM which is quite less compared to most of the other entry level devices in the market. The SAR value of the handset is less than 1.6 W/KG and will come with 1-year manufacturer warranty for the phone while it is six months for the box accessories. Nothing mentions if the device will be available online or offline for which we need to wait few more days for the company to announce it officially.
The connectivity option of the handset includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS, accelerometer, USB and 3.5mm audio jack.
