Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton made its entry into the smartwatch segment, world's first wireless laptop launched also though per se not a gadget, but surely in another big technology launch Facebook Lite for Android finally made its India debut. Louis Vuitton smartwatch: Apple watch gets its most expensive rivalLuxury brand Louis Vuitton launched its first Android Wear smartwatch named Tambour Horizon. The smartwatch offers 30 detachable straps along with cases in Gray, Black and Brown colour options for both men and women. Priced at $2,900, Black version is the costliest variant; the steel version is the cheapest with a price tag of $2,450. As for specs, the watch runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor. The Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch sports a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 390 pixels, has 521MB RAM and 4GB in-built storage. All this is backed by a 300mAh battery.
KFC Huawei 7 Plus: Celebrates KFC's 30th anniversaryHuawei launched a limited edition smartphone to celebrate 30 years of KFC. The US-based KFC is the largest restaurant chain in China. Called KFC Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus, the smartphone comes in Red colour with the branding of both the companies at the back. The KFC smartphone is said to be a version of the company's mid-range smartphone Huawei 7 Plus. Key specifications of the smartphone include 5-inch HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB in-built storage 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera and 3020mAh battery. It is listed at CNY 1099 or roughly Rs 10,000 price tag from the Tmall website.
Dell Latitude 7285: World's first wireless charging laptopDell launched Latitude 7285, the world's first wireless charging laptop. The 12-inch detachable 2-in-1 laptop was first announced at CES 2017. The hybrid has now hit retail shelves in the US at a starting price of $1,199, sans the price of the wireless charging keyboard and charging mat. The company is separately selling them at a price of $379.99 and $199.99 respectively. As for specifications, the Dell Latitude 7285 features a 12-inch display with 2880x1920 pixel resolution. The laptop is powered by Intel's Kaby Lake chips paired with 8GB/16GB of RAM. It offers 512GB of storage and there is also microSD card support. Latitude 7285 also comes with an IR camera for support for Windows Hello.
Asus Zenfone AR: World's first smartphone with Google Tango and Daydream supportThe highlight of the Asus Zenfone AR is its virtual reality and augmented reality support. Both Google Daydream and Google Tango platforms use the three cameras placed at the back of the smartphone. The smartphone was also the world's first smartphone with 8GB RAM when it was unveiled at CES 2017, in Las Vegas. Running Asus ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat, the device features a 5.7-inch AMOLED WQHD screen with 2,560x1,440 resolution (79% body to screen ratio). The display comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood, Asus ZenFone AR packs the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor along with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB inbuilt UFS 2.0 storage. The inbuilt storage can be expanded up to 2TB with a microSD card. The graphics and animations are handled by the Adreno 530 GPU.

Messenger Lite is aimed at users with entry-level smartphones. Weighing some 10MB, Messenger Lite can be used to send and receive texts, photos, links, emojis and stickers.
