Reliance Jio launches new plans, offers 24GB at Rs 149



 Reliance Jio's free data offer is ending soon, and the company is expected to announce some new plans/offerings at its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 21. But even before that, the telco has introduced an interesting offer for its subscribers. As part of the offering, Jio customers can get data for as low as Rs 2.27 per GB.

The new offer is only available with Reliance's Wi-Fi service - JioFi - allowing users with 2G or 3G smartphones to enjoy 4G services as well.

In order to avail the new offer(s), interested users will have to purchase JioFi device for Rs 1,999. After this, they just need to buy a SIM card for the device and do a recharge of Rs 99. Once the recharge is done, users will get Prime membership for that particular SIM card.

Jio subscribers can also choose from various plans, ranging between Rs 149 to Rs 999.

The cheapest plan, which starts at Rs 149 comes with 12-month validity and includes 2GB of data every month, thus totaling 24GB. The Rs 309 plan offers 1GB of 4G data every day, for a month. Moreover, users can get the same data benefits for the next six recharge cycles if they recharge with Rs 309.

Jio customers can also get a recharge of Rs 509, which offers 2GB data per day. This will be applicable for the next four recharge cycles with the same pack. However, if users exhaust their 2GB daily limit, the internet speed will drop to 128Kbps.

Lastly, the recharge of Rs 999 offers 60GB of data for a period of 2 months. It doesn't have any daily limit and users can enjoy as much data as they want.
