Reliance Jio Outs Three New Data Boosters of Rs. 11, Rs. 91, and Rs. 201 Offering 100MB, 2GB, and 5GB Data Respectively

It’s evident from the mergers and acquisitions happening in the telecom industry that every incumbent operator is feeling the heat of predatory plans offered by Reliance Jio. Every telecom operator is trying to lure customers by providing attractive recharge plans. Going forward the quality of service along with cost effective pricing will play a significant role in deciding the champion of the race.

Reliance Jio recently announced the extension of Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer by offering a few more new plans of Rs. 399 and Rs. 349. Besides that, Jio has recently launched three new data booster packs priced at Rs.11, Rs.91, and Rs.201. The Rs.11 pack offers 100MB of data, the Rs. 91 pack offers 2GB and Rs. 201 gives 5GB. All these data booster packs will have validity same as that of the existing plan on the subscriber’s number. Reliance Jio’s existing data boosters of Rs. 51 and Rs. 301 now offer 1GB and 10GB of data respectively. The data booster packs have been designed taking care of every type of user. For heavy data users Jio has 10GB data pack and for users having usage just a bit over 1GB per day Rs.51 pack will be sufficient.

India’s leading telecom operator Airtel and government owned BSNL is going aggressively in the postpaid segment to give nightmares to Reliance Jio. While Reliance Jio has only a few postpaid plans, BSNL and Airtel have a bouquet of postpaid plans for the user to choose from. BSNL’s cheapest postpaid plan is priced at Rs. 99 and offers 250MB of data. On the other hand, Airtel’s cheapest postpaid plan is for Rs. 299 and the subscriber can avail 600MB of 3G/4G data. Jio’s postpaid plan starts at Rs.309 and offers 1GB of 4G data per day. Jio may not have many postpaid subscribers as it requires postpaid subscribers opting for Jio Prime to choose for autopay and e-bill too but it certainly has the cheapest postpaid plans to date.

Pack Rs.11 Rs.51 Rs.91 Rs.201 Rs.301
Data 100MB 1GB 2GB 5GB 10GB

Validity Existing plan’s  validity.

We hope to see even better plans from Jio in coming days. Jio has already guaranteed that it will offer 20% more data than its competitor always. Everyone expected that Jio would come out with more postpaid plans, but obviously, that didn’t happen. But there are two news plans added- Rs. 399 and Rs. 349.
